GUIDED BLAST FASTENER FOR ARTILLERY AMMUNITION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F42C11/06 F42C13/00 F42C13/04

Abstract RU 2700746 C2

FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled artillery projectiles with combined, contact and non-contact fuse operation for remote initiation of explosion from radiation of external source. Controlled detonating fuse for artillery ammunition is made in form of radio-frequency fuse containing millimeter range radio transmitter connected to encoder, a millimeter wavelength range detector connected through a comparator with a remote control unit, an electric igniter, and an energy-containing power supply. Remote control unit includes a decoder, a delay device, voltage stabilizers and a switch, millimeter range detector is made in the form of waveguide detector of millimeter wavelength range and is an antenna in form of a section of waveguide channel in the form of a cylindrical cavity in which a sapphire dielectric is inserted, connected to a detector microwave diode located inside the second waveguide perpendicular to the axis of the waveguide, and also filled with dielectric. Microwave diode is placed on a dielectric substrate inserted into a quarter-wave section of a third waveguide - short-circuiter. Output of detector microwave diode is connected to amplifier first input through comparator. Output of the comparator is connected to the first input of the decoder of the remote control unit. Energy-containing power supply is connected through switchboard and first stabilizer to amplifier of waveguide detector of millimeter range of wavelengths and second input of comparator, and through second stabilizer - to second input of decoder and to second input of delay device, output of which is connected to input of electric igniter.

EFFECT: invention enables to eliminate combustion products on the path of artillery ammunition with remote initiation of blasting for use in small-caliber projectiles while improving efficiency of combat action and functional reliability, as well as safety of use.
