FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: impeller has disk-shaped lower plate, upper plate positioned at predetermined distance from lower plate and provided with air intake located centrally thereof. Diameter of upper plate is equal to that of lower plate. Radial air guiding members are positioned between upper and lower plates. Each of air guiding members has such length that its outer end is within periphery of lower plate. Air guiding members are beveled at both outer ends thereof. According to one of versions, impeller has disk-shaped lower plate, radial air guiding members positioned on lower plate, and upper plate positioned on air guiding members and provided with air intake located centrally thereof. Upper plate has such diameter that its outer periphery corresponds to point making leading end of beveled angle of air guiding member. Each of air guiding members has such length that its outer end is within periphery of lower plate. Air guiding members have beveled angles at both ends of their outer ends. Engine assembly for vacuum cleaner has engine, impeller with disk-shaped lower plate mounted on engine shaft, upper plate positioned at predetermined angle from lower plate and provided with air intake located centrally thereof. Diameter of upper plate is equal to that of lower plate. Each of air guiding members between upper and lower plates has such length that its outer end is within periphery of lower plate. Air guiding members are beveled at both angles of their outer ends. Diffuser disposed in upper part of engine is designed for guiding drawn air from impeller to engine. According to one of versions of engine assembly, impeller upper plate is positioned on air guiding members and is provided with air intake arranged centrally of upper plate. Diameter of upper plate is such that its outer surface corresponds to point making leading end of beveled angle of air guiding member.
EFFECT: minimized noise created during rotation of impeller and operation of engine assembly.
