SUBSTANCE: in the course of dosed distraction it is necessary to carry out ultrasonographic investigation to detect: linear size of neuroma being a structure-free neoplasm of oval shape and of decreased echogeneity; linear size of the pathologically altered distal fragment characterized with indistinct contours, decreased echogeneity and the absence of spindle-shaped structure; linear size of diastasis. The results obtained should be summarized and the total of the defect being 20 mm and less is being the indication to carry out the final stage of operation. The innovation increases the number of means for detecting the final stage of operation on substituting post-traumatic defect of peripheral nervous trunk.
