FIELD: coal industry; metallurgy industry; chemical industry; devices for mineral dressing.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the mineral dressing by the methods of flotation and may be used at the flotation separation of the ore pulps in coal industry, metallurgy industry and chemical industry, and also for purification of the natural and waste waters. The invention allows to heighten the degree of aeration of the ore pulps at the expense of the increased duration of the presence of the pulp in the flotation machine. The flotation machine includes the body divided by the partitions into the straight-flow and counter-flow sections, the aerators, the tools for the pulp feeding into the sections and withdrawal of the products from the sections. The aerators are mounted along the opposite walls of each section. In each section one of the aerators is located in its lower part and the other one is located in the upper part of the section. The outlets of each aerator are facing to the wall of the section opposite to the wall, on which it is mounted. The aerators are installed apart from each other with the space interval in height, which is determined from the following expression: L/2> h> L/5, where h is the spacing interval between the aerators in height in meters, L is the section length in meters.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased degree of aeration of the ore pulps due to the increased duration of the pulp presence in the flotation machine.
