FIELD: air transportation of helicopters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes dismantling the units, packaging the dismantled units, loading the packages into cargo cabin of aircraft and mooring the packages and dismantled units. Main gearbox assembled with frame, main rotor hub, wobble plate, vibration damper are dismantled additionally; besides that, tail doors of both helicopters, tail and end booms of second helicopter are dismantled together with intermediate and end gearboxes, landing gear and tail support. Secured in each package of helicopter fuselages are tail and end boom assemblies, set of main rotor blades, tail doors and port fuel tank. Then, two third packages are formed which include main gearbox assembled with frame, main rotor hub, wobble plate and starboard external fuel tank. First and second packages are located along aircraft fuselage and two third packages are located in between them on sides. Main landing gear and tail supports are located on aircraft ramp. Front landing gear is located on fuselage floor. Equipment includes: loading units, floor units, mooring units; loading units include metal band for raising and shackle for raising and mooring the fuselages. Floor equipment includes additionally cradles and bracket, clamps, wooden bars and adjustable rods, supports and frame. Mooring equipment is additionally provided with brackets mounted on the outside of fuselage over its main frames for mooring the fuselages; brackets mounted on fuselage at tail boom joint area and on frame inside fuselage are used for mooring the tail and end booms and adjustable rods for mooring the blade cradles.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of transportation due to possibility of carrying two helicopters simultaneously.
