FIELD: mixing of explosive compositions.
SUBSTANCE: the end face seal of the explosive composition mixer shaft has a metal supporting ring, seal ring engageable with it, and a device for contraction of the rings with the pressure bushing. The pressure bushing has needles or tabs in the point of engagement with the seal ring, they enter the seal ring. The seal ring is made of belt impregnated under pressure with a heat-resistant lubricant that is resistant to an aggressive medium, and has a weight exceeding the weight of the non-impregnated ring by 2 to 2.5 times. According to the offered method of impregnation the seal ring is impregnated under pressure with a heat-resistant lubricant resistant to an aggressive medium by turn from one and the other sides. An the process of impregnation the discharge of the lubricant on the opposite side over the entire surface and the weight of the seal ring are checked.
EFFECT: provided reliability and quality of impregnation.
