SUBSTANCE: proposed impeller contains front disk 1 and main disk 2, backward-curved blades and axle 8. Blade 3 has main section 6 adjoining through edge 7 to disk 1, and flap 9 with leading edge 10 in plane perpendicular to axle 8, and side edge 11 arranged at acute angle to edge 10 with local radius Rse increasing with increase of distance from said edge. Axle 8, nose 12 of flap 9 and point of connection of edge 10 of following blade with disk 1 lie on one straight line on projection of plane perpendicular to axle 8. Combining of sound pressure signals from all points of edges 10 and 11 with account of amplitudes and propagation phases in any point before such impeller occurs in any moment of time, and their momentary sum tends to zero.
EFFECT: increased pressure head aerodynamic characteristics at reduction of noise level of impeller.
