FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas turbine plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel burning devices and it can be used for lightning up of fuel incombustion chambers of gas-turbine plants and stabilization of flame front in chambers. Proposed swirl burner contains swirl chamber, nozzle, spark plug, injector, shell, semispherical cover, compressed air threaded union, swirler. Inner shell of swirl chamber housing consists of two sections: cylindrical and conical. Shell has one conical section. Slot holes of shell bushing are ring-shaped. Swirl burner is provided with diffuser mated with semispherical cover. Compressed air delivery union is attached to outer shell of swirl chamber housing. Compressed air delivery union is made tangentially to outer shell of swirl chamber housing. Nozzle is made profiled. Outer surface of nozzle is made in form of auger twisting device.
EFFECT: provision of stability of burning and reduced toxicity of combustion products, increased reliability of design components, enlarged concentration range of stable operation, increased efficiency of cooling of inner shell of swirl chamber housing, reduced hydraulic losses, increase velocity of combustion products outflow.
