FIELD: method, system and gate for automatic adjustment of device for redirecting name requests in domain names system.
SUBSTANCE: DNS adjustment packet is transferred to remote gate through a tunnel of virtual private network (VPN). This adjustment packet contains global name of home network and private address of DNS server in home network. Response packet of DNS adjustment is received from remote gate through the tunnel. The response packet contains global name of another home network and private address of DNS server of another home network. DNS server application level gate (DNS-ALG) in home network is configured depending on response DNS adjustment packet for redirecting DNS name requests for global name of other network to DNS server of other network.
EFFECT: synchronization of network information.
