FIELD: designing and manufacture of metal structures for mail boxes.
SUBSTANCE: mail box has thin-wall casing consisting of welded steel sheet parts and stamped parts, and rotating doors fixed relative to casing by means of lock latches in closed position of internal cavity of mail box structure. Rotating doors are provided at face side of mail box for rotation relative to vertical axis. Doors are furnished with rigidly fixed substrate having opening whose axis is aligned with axis of door opening. Rotating bushings are rigidly secured to stamped profile of doors, vertical axis being common for bushings openings. On substrate and doors there are locks equipped with latch. Door openings are joined with immovable yoke equipped with rotating holder having members positioned within openings of rotating holder along shaped contour of individual key. Latch has curved blade. Door is provided with notched inclined rib defining slit-like 80-120 micron thick cut for insertion of single-sheet correspondence through it and for preventing foreign matter from getting into mail box. Substrate has four lock fixing apertures, and faceplates with apertures are positioned at the side of mail box rear wall. Bottom of mail box is formed so as to provide curved portion defined by surfaces of sheet profile.
EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation.
