METHOD FOR HYDROKINESITHERAPY IN PREMATURE NEONATALS AND THOSE AT PERINATAL CNS PATHOLOGY Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61H33/00 A61H1/00 A63B31/00 A63B69/08 A63B69/12

Abstract RU 2311164 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with reconstructive therapy to form mobile functions in neonatals. It is necessary to carry out hydrokinesitherapy in premature neonatals and those at perinatal CNS pathology. Trainings should be carried out on the ground and in water, gradually, depending upon the age. It is important to accustom them to water, fulfill arm balances in water, diving, movements, physical exercises and games. Trainings should be carried out in three stages: the first stage for babies aged 2 wk - 3 mo in a portable swimming pool where a baby is alone; the second stage for children aged 3 mo -1 yr in a shallow swimming pool where a child is together with an adult; the third stage for children aged 1 -3 yr in a swimming pool together with an adult. Every training consists of 3 parts: aqueous, main and final. The main and the final parts should be carried out in water, at the end of the final part it is necessary to go to the sauna at 60°C for about 3-5 min. The innovation is simple, physiological, stimulates the flow of nervous impulses along different levels of nervous system by favoring the maturation of reflector arches and activation of silent cerebral areas. As a result, premature neonatals gain motor habits and coordination characteristics quicker being natural to their calendar age.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
