FIELD: technology of silicates, glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass compositions that can be used for manufacturing illumination engineering articles and high-quality glassware. Proposed glass comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 44.0-46.0; B2O3, 2.0-4.0; CaO, 18.0-20.0; ZnO, 6.0-10.0; K2O, 8.0-10.0; SrO, 8.0-12.0, and BaO, 4.0-8.0. Invention provides increasing value of light refraction coefficient of glass.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of glass.
