SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 2.8-3.2; silicon, 1.8-2.2; manganese, 0.4-0.8; nickel, 2.0-2.5; chromium, 0.1-0.3; copper, 0.5-1.0; cerium, 0.05-0.15; aluminum, 0.03-0.05; titanium, 0.1-0.2; molybdenum, 4.0-5.o; niobium, 0.1-0.2; magnesium, 0.005-0.01; zirconium nitrides, 0.05-0.1; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced fatigue strength of cast iron.
