SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast iron compositions. Proposed cast iron comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 2.8-3.2; silicon, 1.8-2.2; manganese, 1.8-2.2; aluminum, 0.1-0.2; calcium, 0.003-0.005; nickel, 1.8-2.2; molybdenum, 1.8-2.2; boron, 0.03-0.05; cerium, 0.05-0.15; magnesium, 0.003-0.005; antimony, 0.003-0.005, and iron, the balance. Using this invention provides enhancing cold resistance of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of cast iron.
