FIELD: military equipment, designed for automatic loading of artillery guns.

SUBSTANCE: the device has a component swinging relative to the journal axis, loading mechanism with a lever aligning the ammunition with the line of feeding to the bore, and an automatic setter of the ammunition fuse. The latter is installed an a lever. The head of the automatic setter of the ammunition fuse is made self-adjustable relative to the ammunition axis. The drive of the automatic setter of the ammunition fuse is made hydraulic-operated. The self-adjustable head of the automatic setter of the ammunition fuse is spring-loaded for compression to the ammunition at a normalized force. The working stroke of the automatic setter of the ammunition fuse is limited by the terminal switches of the direct and back strokes.

EFFECT: enhanced rate of fire of the gun due to reduced duration of the loading cycle.
