Coil slot pitch ym = 3, 1 with turn number wc, (1 - x) wc groups for concentric double-coil groups and yp = 2wc with turn number (1 + x) wc for single-coil groups, where 2wc is turn number in slot completely filled with winding at optimal value of x, xopt = 0.59.
EFFECT: minimized differential dissipation percentage.
