FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of luminescent filler for greenhouse polyethylene film. Intermediate product is synthesized by preparing yttrium and europium solutions after addition of urea and thiourea, the former in amount 0.5-2.5 mole per 1 mole yttrium oxide. Mixture is heated to burning temperature and then reaction mixture is prepared by mixing presently obtained intermediate with sulfidizing agent. Reaction mixture may further be completed with 0.5-5 wt % tellurium. Reaction mixture is thermally treated at 1100-1250°C, after which luminophor is washed out and modified. Luminophor is characterized by average particle size not larger than 0.5 μm and high luminescence brightness.
EFFECT: reduced fineness of product and enhanced luminescence.
