FIELD: agriculture, in particular, biological processes of controlling aphids on berry crops.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining extent of damage produced by pests to plants; settling parasite of Aphidius colemani kind at parasite-host rate of 1:10 in case of one colony per plant, and 1:5 in case of two and more colonies per plant, with threshold (minimum) of aphid damaged plant buds or leaves, time period and pest development stage being taken into account.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in controlling of aphids and increased plant yield.
