FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: in blood of tested patients during exacerbation of ulcerous disease one should detect the content of aqueous fractions in biomacromolecules of hemocytes and at the value of hydration coefficient illustrating the ratio of the bound fraction against free one being equal to 0.36 and less one should state upon severe degree of ulcerous disease flow; at that value ranged 0.37-0.43 - upon moderate degree and at 0.44-0.50 - upon light degree of disease flow. The method is simple, cheap, sufficiently informative and objective. It enables to predict the severity degree in patients at nonprolonged period of the disease in question and in case of first-detected ulcerous disease that is very important in matching the tactics of therapy, preparations and terms of therapy and, also, for evaluating the efficiency of therapy conducted.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
