SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of risk of complicated duodenal ulcer. Duodenum biopsy is performed with sampling one biopsy material on the lateral and medial walls of the bulb. Expression level of microRNA-155 is determined, the arithmetic mean is calculated based on the results of three repetitions. At value 2.442±0.096 predicts a high risk of developing complicated duodenal ulcer.

EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of a high risk of developing complicated duodenal ulcer by determining the expression level of microRNA-155 in duodenal biopsy materials.
