FIELD: transport engineering; pneumatic brake systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed brake system of vehicle contains fluid medium pressure source made for transmitting brake force to at least one brake circuit, and modular valve box connecting brake circuit with fluid medium pressure source. Modular valve box has great number of valve modules, each module containing housing with working elements of valve module and, at least, one channel in housing made for operating at inlet channel or outlet channel. Channel is made for interaction and direct connection with at least one channel of other assembly of valve modules which makes it possible to dispense with mounting of hoses or pipelines. Each of valve assemblies is self-contained, and it forms self-contained unit capable of functioning irrespective of any other assembly of valve modules.

EFFECT: simplified design owing to exclusion of large-size system of pipelines for connecting different components of system, provision of easy mounting, no long delay of moment of obtaining required pressure in system.
