FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to pneumatic braking systems. Proposed modulator comprises housing accommodating slide valve supporting toothed rack coupled with step motor shaft gear. Modulator housing has channels, one connecting modulator chamber with actuator (braking chamber) and another, compressed air receiver with inlet valve. Modulator housing accommodates also spring loaded pneumatic piston that houses intake valve. The latter is spring loaded towards pneumatic piston seat and is integrated with outlet valve seat in contact with RH face of slide valve. Spring is mounted between RH face of slide valve and pneumatic piston. Actuator (braking chamber) communicates with atmosphere via housing channel, open outlet pneumatic valve, axial bore on inlet pneumatic valve, piston and modulator cover.
EFFECT: perfected design.
