FIELD: ammunition placed in special aerial containers, bomb cluster adapters or bomb clusters; such bombs are dropped from the carrier and hit the preset target being both in the surface and underwater position.
SUBSTANCE: the air bomb has a nose, body with a stabilizer and a warhead with an explosive charge placed in the body. The front end of the nose is made in the form of several acute-angled lugs with a diameter increasing to the air bomb tail, they are positioned perpendicularly to the bomb longitudinal axis, the transitional surfaces of the lugs are made in the form of truncated cones.
EFFECT: reduced axial g-loads arising at water touching of the bomb, enhanced motion stability of the air bomb in the underwater section of the trajectory with a maximum probable sustained dipping speed, and, as a result the reliability of actuation of the air bomb.
