FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the suggested distracter is supplied with needle holders, the upper and the lower axes for mobile fastening these needle holders, the upper body with screws of both vertical and horizontal movement and the lower body with both horizontal and vertical plungers. The screws of vertical and horizontal movement are located in the upper body being mobile, mutually perpendicular and along the guides. The latter are located vertically and horizontally. Vertical guides are immovably fixed towards the bottom of the vertical plunger, horizontal ones - towards the bottom of the above-mentioned upper axis. The screw of horizontal movement is movably fixed with stopper rings at the bottom of the above-mentioned upper axis, and the screw of vertical movement - at the bottom of the vertical plunger. The lower body has got both the upper and the lower platforms. The upper platform is movably connected with the lower platform with a screw being a rotation axis of these platforms. The horizontal plunger should be movably fastened with a screw in the lower platform, where the lower axis is immovably fastened. As for the vertical plunger, it should be movably connected with the upper platform. The present innovation provides a dosed mandibular shift for the desired distance in the preset direction for separating the branch with broken and dislocated mandibular condylar process and the articular surface of temporal bone. Descended mandibula provides optimal intra-oral access to surgical wound, prevents complications, palliates the reposition of fragments and shortens the time for surgical interference.
