SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition used in treatment of demodecoseous blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis as a gel or ointment. The composition comprising common wormwood extract prepared by supercritical fluid extraction with carbon dioxide involves the following components, %: terpenes and terpenoids, up to 19; flavonoids, up to 9; steroids, up to 11; vitamins A and E, up to 1; wax, up to 60, and pharmaceutically acceptable filling agent wherein components are taken in the definite amounts. The composition promotes to effective treatment of demodecoseous blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis, decreases the treatment period and prolongs inter-relapse period. Proposed composition is used in treatment of patients with demodecosis.
