FIELD: wood-working industry; other industries; production of the circular saw machines for lengthwise sawing of the logs.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the sawing machines with the circular saws used for lengthwise sawing of the logs. The frame saw contains the central section with the teeth and the side planes located at the sharp angle between them, and the end sections of the saw blade with the fixed on them abutment bars, which adjoins to the side planes. The central part of the saw blade in its cross section has the form of the isosceles trapezium transforming in the shape of the rectangle on the end parts. At that the angle between the side planes of the end section and the central section lays within the interval of α = 0.1°÷ 0.5°. The invention diminishes the saw blade friction in the sawing slit and increases the saw blade strength.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the reduced saw blade friction in the sawing slit and increases the saw blade strength.
