FIELD: shaping clay of other ceramic compositions, particularly machines or methods for applying the material to surfaces to form a permanent layer thereon, namely production of gypsum panels with thinned edges.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming mark on facing material of previously formed preform; additionally determining mark and creating impress in created preform; reading said mark; generating signal to activate preform cutting device. Panel production line and embossing device for said impress forming are also disclosed. Embossing device comprises frame, pairs of the first and the second rollers or toothed wheels, two transmission belts or two chains passing over rollers or toothed wheels correspondingly, as well as one wire passing between belts or chains so that longitudinal axis thereof is parallel to roller or wheel axis.
EFFECT: simplified gypsum panel production due to possibility of panel length determination during panel preform creation.
