Abstract RU 2313469 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; construction of propellers for various ships.

SUBSTANCE: proposed propeller is provided with flat blades with leading and trailing edges and end tips. Blades are mounted on cylindrical or ellipsoid hubs at pitch angle. Planes of propeller blades are inclined relative to hub longitudinal axis at angle lesser than 90o and more than 30o. Propeller blades may be made in form of rectangular plates. End tips of propeller blades may be rectilinear in form. It is good practice to select propeller pitch angle between 0o and 60 degrees. Propeller blades may be made in form of unsymmetrical plates, acinaci-shaped plates for example.
