FIELD: mining industry; other industries; methods and the devices for purification of the mining and underground waters from iron.

SUBSTANCE: the invention may be used at the industrial stations for purification of the mining and the natural waters characterized by the high concentration of iron (up to 150-250 and above mg/dm) and рН> 6. The method of purification of the mining and underground waters from iron provides for their aeration by the redundant concerning the stoichiometric ratio of the reacting ingredients by amount of the air and after- oxidation of the iron up to trivalent in the suspended layer of the deposit. At that the aeration is conducted in the turbulent and laminar streams of the source water by the moving stream of the ascending air in the autocatalytic mode at the expense of formation of the catalytic suspension of the trivalent iron hydroxide. The multistage aeration is conducted with alternation of the aeration zones with the zones of coagulation and sedimentation of the formed deposition, and the process of the coagulation and sedimentation is conducted without feeding of the air. The installation for purification of the mining and underground waters from iron contains the tubular aerators and the horizontal settling tank supplied with the vertical wall with the clearance at the bottom and the tubular aerators which are integrated in the systems raised a little over the bottom and laid at an angle in direction to the device used for the water discharge from them. The technical result of the invention is the raised productivity and effectiveness of iron removal from the mining and underground waters having the high concentration of iron.
