FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for treatment of flax stock in horizontal layer has traverse motion table provided with layer forming portion and fiber removal portion, treatment sections for separating of flax refuse from fiber, and breaking plank. Traverse motion table adjoins cylindrical casing of treatment section for separation of flax refuse from fibers. Cylindrical casing has longitudinal slot provided on its side surface, at the level of traverse motion table and on end wall of casing at inlet side and flax stock layer outlet side from which flax stock is delivered from said section. Working devices of said section are made in the form of plates having sharpened edge and fixed on beating planks spaced from longitudinal slot of casing. Plates are inclined at an acute angle to generatrix surface circumscribed by sharpened edge of plate and are provided at their shank part with saw-shaped faceplates arranged at an obtuse angle to plate surface so that ends of teeth are positioned at the level of generatrix surface circumscribed by working edge of plate, and bases of teeth are arranged at the level of plane defined by sharpened edges of plates.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of apparatus and improved treatment quality owing to enhanced flax stock scraping efficiency.
