FIELD: mechanical engineering; pipe joints.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe joint consists of pipes to be connected and intermediate member - nipple. Nipple is made with four seat cylindrical surfaces, two of which are concentric to geometric axis of joint, and two others are eccentric relative to said axis. One of pipes is provided with three seat cylindrical surfaces, one of which is concentric and two others are eccentric relative to geometric axis of joint. Said pipe engages with nipple and second pipe through two eccentric surfaces, and through one concentric surface, with corresponding surface of nipple. Second pipe is provided also with three seat cylindrical surfaces, two of which are eccentric relative to geometric axis of joint to engage with corresponding surfaces of first pipe and nipple, and third surface is concentric and is designed to engage with corresponding surface of nipple. All eccentric surfaces of each member of joint are made with different values of eccentricity relative to geometric axis of joint.
EFFECT: simplified design.
