DIGITAL TELEVISION SET Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H04N9/12 

FIELD: colored television receiver for usage in analog and digital television systems.

SUBSTANCE: digital television set contains radio channel block, horizontal scanning block, frame scanning block, chromaticity block, impulse generator and key, three code generation channels. Introduced to digital television set are flat-panel screen composed of matrix elements, number of which equals the number of resolution pixels and block for selecting synchronization impulse of odd frame field. Into each code generation channel, a block for generating control signals is introduced, and each matrix element includes three emitting cells of main colors, combined into one non-transparent body, light channel of emitting cell is composed of serially positioned white luminescence diode and a colored light filter. Image frame is created by simultaneous emission of all elements of screen matrix, making horizontal scanning unnecessary during generation of image on the screen.

EFFECT: increased brightness of image reproduction, prevented horizontal scanning during generation of a frame on the screen.
