FIELD: medicine, stomatology, phytotherapy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for treatment and disinfecting dental removable prostheses by using phytotherapeutic agents. Method involves using 10% alcoholic tincture (1:5) of the following medicinal plants species consisting of pot-marigold flowers, common rowan fruits, peppermint leaves, dropwort herb, medicinal soapwort roots wherein components are taken in the equal mass parts, and zinc oxide in he definite amount to obtain paste. Prepared agent is used for cleansing the dental removable prostheses. Disinfecting effect is provides by immersion of dental removable prostheses to the same tincture for 15-20 min. This 10% alcoholic tincture containing zinc oxide shows the expressed cleansing, bactericidal and fungicide properties, it doesn't cause corrosion of metallic components of dental removable prostheses and irritating effect on the mouth cavity tissues and exerts the available cost.
EFFECT: improved method for treatment of prostheses.
