FIELD: aviation; manufacture of heavy float-type sea planes-amphibians for operation in regions of air accidents and in the Far North regions and in the Far East regions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sea plane is just monoplane with lifting wing, fuselage, twin-fin tail unit, cruise turbojet engines and two inflating engines mounted in nose section of sea plane in technical compartment which are used for forming air cushion and blowing-off incident wave; sea plane is provided with tricycle landing gear. Lifting wing is low-set delta swept wing. Fuselage is positioned on center-wing section which extends over entire length of fuselage and performs the function of main load-bearing structural member of sea plane connecting the fuselage, twin-fin tail unit and two elongated inflatable floats of torpedo-like form in single structure protecting the cruise engines against splash flow. Two inflatable floats form catamaran arrangement of sea plane support on water surface; they are located under center-wing section in parallel relative to each other and are secured under it in streamlined nacelles for retraction (deflating) in flight and extension at takeoff and landing. Sea plane-amphibian is provided with three dampening (shock absorbing) sliding hydro-skis mounted on float nacelles and in nose fuselage. Inflating engines are used for delivery of inflating air under center-wing section. Sea plane is provided with four cruise turbojet engines which are mounted on tail unit stabilizer to ensure protection against splash flow. Elevators are additionally mounted in nose fuselage. Fuselage has nose section hinged aside for loading and unloading the sea plane from nose section of fuselage.
EFFECT: enhanced stability and seaworthiness; reduced hydrodynamic and aerodynamic drag; enhanced strength of structure and controllability of sea plane.
