FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of air transport, in particular, to designs of vehicles using ground-effect vehicle (GEV) and airplane modes during flight. Multi-mode GEV-airplane capable of flying in airplane and GEV modes comprises a fuselage of a seaplane, tricycle retractable landing gear with a nose support, a trapezoidal wing center section of a small elongation having a span equal to the track of the main wheels (or wheel assemblies). Landing gear are retracted into recesses made at maximum span of wing center section, to which panels of large elongation wing with stability wingtip floats are jointed. Proposed GEV-airplane also comprises hybrid power plant with gas turbine engine, electric generator, accumulator battery, two electric motors with propellers installed at ends of horizontal pylons above fuselage from right and left sides of fuselage, tail assembly comprises tail fins with spaced twin tail.
EFFECT: higher aerodynamic quality during flight over the ground and in altitude flight, possibility of takeoff and landing on water, on ice and land aerodrome, higher transport efficiency.
