FIELD: rocket and spacecraft ground equipment; rocketry and space engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has cylindrical attachment mounted in lower part of water conduit. Mounted in attachment body concentrically relative to its axis is cylindrical nozzle. Located in between outer side of nozzle and inner wall of attachment body are four flat inclined blades smoothly distributed over circumference; they overlap one another forming trapezoidal nozzles. Attachment is connected with side walls of water conduit by means of cover plates located at angle of 25-35° relative to longitudinal axis of attachment. Proposed device makes it possible to form intensive taper fan-shaped dispersed curtain when water fed from water conduit flows through said blades (nozzles).
EFFECT: reduction of gas-dynamic and acoustic action on space rocket; enhanced intensity of cooling rocket engine gas jet.
