FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment of rocket launching systems, in particular, to a method for reducing the destructive effect on the elements of the launch equipment and the launch structure at the launch of a launch vehicle. Method for reducing the destructive effect on the elements of the launch pad and the launch structure consists in creating, during the launch of the launch vehicle, a protective film formation on the metal lining of the gas duct of the launch pad over the entire area thereof by supplying liquid from the internal units of the launch structure prior to starting the rocket engine. The liquid is supplied through the mains of pipelines laid in the launch structure along the gas duct of the launch pad under the metal lining thereof. A reagent capable of neutralising the negative effect of vapours of the components of rocket fuel and thermal loads of the gas jet of the propulsion system can be used as a liquid. The liquid is removed to the surface of the gas relief channel through branch pipes put in the holes of the metal lining.
EFFECT: wear resistance of the elements of the launch equipment and the launch structure during the launch of the launch vehicle is increased.
