FIELD: anti-ice reagents.
SUBSTANCE: anti-icing reagent contains, wt %: magnesium chloride 8.0-56.3, calcium chloride 2.0-13.4, sodium and potassium, and optionally lithium chloride 0.05-3.2, corrosion inhibitor 0.01-0.60, and water (the rest). According to invention, corrosion inhibitor is a compound selected from group including: urea, sodium nitrite, monoammonium phosphate, monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, borax, polybensylammonium chloride, polybensylpyridinium chloride, chlorides of polyethylenepolyamines, triethanolamine chloride or sulfate, benzotriazole, sodium benzoate, sodium 2-aminobenzoate, caprolactam, oxyethylated mono- and dialkylphenols, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid sodium salts, alkylidenephosphonic acid sodium salts, phosphonic acid amides, and their mixtures. Reagent is prepared by mixing aqueous solutions of alkali and alkali-earth metal chlorides with corrosion inhibitor followed by concentration or drying at temperature within 110-230°С at atmospheric or reduced pressure, or in heated gas flow to obtain product with moisture content 26.5-52.9%, which is then crystallized or granulated using known techniques. In another embodiment of invention, crystalline alkali and alkali-earth metal chlorides and corrosion inhibitor in liquid or crystalline form, or in the form of aqueous solution are mixed, compacted, and granulated. pH values of working solutions varies between 5.5 and 8.5.
EFFECT: reduced phytotoxicity, and lowered freezing temperature of working solutions.
