FIELD: window sashes, door leaves, or like elements for closing openings, particularly units comprising two or more parallel glass or like panes in spaced relationship, namely glass packs.
SUBSTANCE: method for glass pack production of at least two glass sheets involves unwinding elastoplastic band from accumulation reel; pressing one side surface of the elastoplastic band to the first glass sheet to create spacing packing extending along the first glass sheet perimeter; installing and pressing another glass sheet to the first one. Elastoplastic band has section extending through elastoplastic band thickness and having width less than nominal width thereof. Strip-like partial surfaces of band sides are covered with glue so that the glue is located in band section having nominal width and remainder, deeper, strip-like partial surfaces of band sides are covered with the second glue just before band pressing to the first glass sheet. The second glue is resistant to water vapor diffusion.
EFFECT: improved heat insulation properties.
