FIELD: heavy-power stationary, mobile, and airborne electrical and radio equipment characterized in low power requirement for controlling its components.
SUBSTANCE: proposed switch has electromagnetic control system incorporating polarizing permanent magnet that functions to hold movable contact in two extreme positions upon deenergizing electromagnet control coils. Flexible ribbon contact whose surface protrudes above contacting surface of rigid fixed contact by at least 1-2 of contact gap tolerance is installed in parallel with each of rigid fixed contacts of switch. Flexible ribbon contacts are disposed on side opposite to contacting surface of rigid fixed contacts and are tightly secured on their leads. Top part of flexible ribbon contacts is bent out at their contacting point in direction opposite to additional U-shaped movable contact. Flexible ribbon contacts are made of heat-resistance highly conductive nonmagnetic material characterized in low susceptibility to diffusion welding in high vacuum (for instance, molybdenum) and can be made in the form of stack of thin plates.
EFFECT: enhanced throughput capacity with respect to high-frequency currents and resistance to mechanical thrusts, as well as cyclic stability of membrane at same size and mass.
