FIELD: electrical engineering; locating devices for connecting to direct- or alternating-current lines in alarm and fire-fighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be primarily used in alarm and fire-fighting engineering, in particular for alarms and fire warning devices to connect wire to them has insulating base equipped with wire clamping members of which one is current-conductive spring contact, other clamping member being made in the form of flexible lever built integral with base and designed for rocking relative to point of its jointing to base. Current-conductive spring contact is disposed on base and lever common surface, both clamping members being provided with projections. Junction dimensions of projections are such that wire is clamped due to elastic properties of lever and contact.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced labor consumption for wire connection.
