SUBSTANCE: the relay measuring member is connected to the current transducer at the terminal/leadout of interest of the protected object of the power network, the currents of the transducers of the protected object are summed up with the current of the transducers of the other parallel and nearest components of the power network by-pass connections shunting the protected object, the obtained sum of currents is compared with the rated set point, and the potential actuating signal for current cut-off is obtained via the transducer of the protected object.
EFFECT: enhanced and stabilized efficiency of current cut-off action for protected objects shunted by parallel and by-pass connections.
