SUBSTANCE: invention describes using N'-methyl-1-phenyl-1-N,N-diethylaminomethane sulfonamide of the formula (I) 
. This compound is used in presowing treatment of cereal crop seeds as a fungicide and growth-regulating agent and relating to the III-d class of danger, i. e. shows improved ecology as compared with many other fungicide preparations used for pickling cereal crop seeds.
