FIELD: fire-resistant materials.
SUBSTANCE: formulation for fireproofing coating, which can be used to coat wood, contains, as binding agent, soda glass having modulus 2.6-3.2 and density 1.200-1.230 g/cm3 and modified with butadiene-styrene latex characterized by weight ratio (99.5-96.5):(0.5-3.5), bivalent metal carbonate (fire retardant), diatomite or talc (structuring agent), Portland cement (hardener), and pigment. Aim of invention is to develop composition exhibiting fireproofing capacity at lower consumption thereof and emitting no harmful substances when exposed to fire. This aim is achieved when using indicated binder to create fireproofing wood coating formulation showing increased fireproofing capacity (up to 50%) at lower consumption (0.15-0.25 kg/m2) and without harmful emissions while being suitable for painting operations.
EFFECT: enhanced fireproofing capacity and excluded harmful emissions on heating.
