FIELD: safety razors, in particular, blade assembly for safety razor.

SUBSTANCE: blade assembly comprises upper side, lower side, and front and rear sides, multiplicity of cutting edges positioned between first guarding surface and first end surface at upper side, and additional cutting edge positioned between second guarding surface and second end surface at rear side. Distance d₁ between first guarding surface and first end surface measured in plane d₁ tangential thereto exceeds distance d₂ between second guarding surface and second end surface. Channel for through flowing of washing water is adapted for communicating gap between additional cutting edge and second guarding surface with opening provided through lower side.

EFFECT: easy removal of hair cuts produced during shaving and soap foam from lower side of additional blade to lower side of blade assembly.
