FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring concentration of components, flow rate of the fluid, and thickness of sediments on the pipeline wall by means of a probing unit mounted inside the pipeline. The probing unit has three capacitive pickups, temperature gage, and contact pickup. The capacitive pickups cycles measurements at various frequencies of alternating voltage, and the additional contact pickup measure permanently. Voltages of different frequencies are applied to the capacitive pickup in series from the appropriate measuring unit that is mounted in the vicinity of the probing unit. The data obtained are processed with a computer. The probing and measuring units are connected with the computer through an additional central processor.

EFFECT: simplified method of measuring.
