FIELD: automatics and computer engineering, possible use in program control systems, for automatic input of information into a computer.

SUBSTANCE: converter contains phase shifter (1) with two-phased voltage, two outputs of which are connected to zero-organs (2,3), first one of which through delay element (4) is connected to OR element (5), and second one is connected to OR element (5) directly, which is in turn connected to counting input of trigger (9), impulse generator (6), connected to input of counter (7), stage outputs of which are connected to first inputs of coincidence elements (8), second inputs of which are connected to generating element (16). Introduced to the device are second trigger (11), two coincidence elements (10,15), mono-stable multi-vibrator (14) and reverse counter (12). Direct output of trigger (9) is connected to first input of first coincidence element (10), second input of which is connected to output of impulse generator (6), and output - to counting input of second trigger (11), which is in turn connected to reverse counting input of reverse counter (12). Inverse output of first trigger (9) is connected through delay element (13) to input of mono-stable multi-vibrator (14), output of which is connected to first input of second coincidence element (15), second input of which is connected to impulse generator (6), and output - to direct counting input of reverse counter (12), output of which is in turn connected to input of generating element (16).

EFFECT: conversion of movement to digital code; increased precision of movement to code conversion and increased speed of operation due to introduction of blocks for compensating errors.
