SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to a food composition or fodder composition for domestic animals. The suggested composition contains efficient quantity of plant or extract of Amelanchier plant as an active ingredient to be applied for maintaining osseous health or preventing, interrupting and/or treating osseous diseases. It has been, also, suggested to apply the composition for stimulating osseous growth, regenerating bones at treating the fractures, improving osteogenesis and preventing osteoarthritis. The innovation provides more efficient prophylaxis and treatment of osseous diseases.
