FIELD: disinfection of water.

SUBSTANCE: ozonizer comprises dielectric pipe made of cooled dielectric casing for the electrodes made of a double spiral secured to the outer side of the dielectric pipe. One of the electrodes is made of a stainless steel wire, and the other one is made of a wire provided with a thermal resistant insulation. The end of the wire is reliably insulated, and the other end is connected to one of the poles of a high-voltage AC power source. The uninsulated electrode is connected with the other pole of the high-voltage AC power source. The ozonizer is made for permitting the change of efficiency due to varying the length of winding of the spiral and control of AC high-voltage power source.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
