FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; methods of the hydrochemical processing of the alunite ore.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of nonferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the hydrochemical processing of the alunite ore containing silicon oxide in the form of quartz modifications. The method provides for the fine crushing lixiviation of the alunite ore in the rod mill by simultaneous loading in the rod mill of the alunite ore, its crushing up to the coarseness of minus 30 mm, and the recycled alkaline solution with the temperature of 80-90°С. The solution is batched in the rod mill from the calculation of production of the alkaline-aluminate solution with the caustic modulus equal to 1.5-1.7 units and the silicone modulus up to 300 units. At that the grinding is conducted up to production of the slime remainder of the ore with the coarseness of minus 2 mm. The invention allows to speed up the process of lixiviation of the alunite ore, to increase extraction of the aluminum oxide, alkalis and sulfur from the ore and to simplify the production process.
EFFECT: the invention ensures acceleration and simplification of the production process of the alunite ore lixiviation, the increased extraction of the aluminum oxide, alkalis and sulfur from the ore.
